So, this post is long overdue. I hope and trust that everyone had a great holiday season and that Santa was VERY good to you this past year. All the best to what 2013 may have in store for you. Enjoy it.
Now, back to the subject of the hour: Pinterest. Tell me, what do YOU know about one of the latest photo sharing platforms on the Internet today? Have you dabbled a bit on it? I know I have and let me be the first to admit… Pinterest is an addiction! One can literally spend hours on it, posting and sharing picture after picture. You know the saying, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words…’ Well, this saying just marks Pinterest to a T. As I said in the beginning, Pinterest is a photo sharing platform. You can post and share images that you like, dislike, dream vacations, etc. It’s an excellent platform in order to get to know someone’s personality or business, just by simply posting images.
Now, I am sure this question gets asked a lot… How is Pinterest for business? Well, as with all things social media, of course, it’s not for everybody. If your business is about effectively communicating your product and/or service visually, then Pinterest is your ticket to credibility. Let’s take two very visual professions and integrate them into Pinterest…interior designer and real estate agent. Both professions offer very visually appealing styles in order to reach out to prospective clients. We all know that an interior designer requires visually
appealing images in order to effectively communicate their personal style to a client. That’s when Pinterest comes in.
